Individual progress (Australia)

In this post i'll show my individual progress for this project, after discussing with all group member we agreed to use same layout for every country for make it synchronize and simple. From my last post i already mention about dividing task to group member. So, I represent for Australia.

First of all, if you notice when you move your cursor to country page it show the icon of flag of that country that you point to. for example in figure 1

figure 1

I'm creating this button using adobe photoshop. First i search flag of Australia via internet. then using masking round shape to get round flag. after masking, im using bevel and emboss effect

and Tadaaaa....

button done.!

Ok, now back on web page progress my part.

  1) Since every country using same layout so we focusing on content of that country that we represent. On my first layout is a page of my destination which is Australia. In this page i provide a simple brief information about Australia on right side and the left side a picture of Australia so i'm using kangaroo to represent it. On the bottom of the page you can see three sub button that link you to best place, event & celebration also gallery.

2) When you click to "Best place" button,  it will bring you to top of  3 the best destination of Australia.
In this case i already provide the famous place in Australia - Sydney, Gold Coast and Swan River. When you click at each button it provide you some information that activity that you can have it there.

3) On "Event & celebration" provide you the information what and when they're celebrating special event. It helps to those people want to try something new and get to know about the culture.

4) and 3rd button links you to gallery and we provide some picture of beautiful Australia scene.
in this page on your left side is a thumbnail of the picture. but when we move the cursor on that picture large image will appear of right side. the reason we using this concept is making the user choose the picture that they only wanted to see.
